The Relic Necklace
Available in sterling silver on an 18-inch oxidized sterling silver satellite chain, or in brass on an 18-inch 14k gold-filled satellite chain.
The Relic feels discovered rather than designed.
The surface is intentionally weathered (reticulated) by my torch— uneven, textured, bearing marks that suggest erosion, landscape, memory. Like a fragment unearthed from soil or shoreline, it carries the presence of time. Not polished smooth. Not erased.
A relic is preserved because it holds meaning. It has endured. It has been carried forward.
This piece speaks to the archetype of the Wise Woman — experience integrated rather than hidden. The beauty here is not perfection, but depth. The subtle irregular edges reinforce that nothing living is symmetrical for long. What lasts gathers texture.
In sterling silver, the tone feels cool and elemental — like stone and ash. In brass, the warmth evokes sun-aged metal and buried treasure brought back to light. Both metals evolve with wear, developing character alongside the wearer.
The satellite chain adds a measured rhythm — small markers along a continuous path. Like milestones. Like lineage.
Worn at the heart, The Relic becomes a reminder that your history is not something to polish away. It is what gives you weight. It is what makes you valuable.
Handcrafted in my Montana studio, each pendant is individually formed and textured by hand. No two surfaces will ever replicate each other exactly.
An original form.
Weathered.
Enduring.
Treasure shaped by time.
