The Morrígan Necklace

$325.00

Hand-sawn raven with Sheen Obsidian and Garnet. Inspired by The Morrígan of Irish mythology.

I learned of the Morrígan about a year ago and have been quite taken by her ever since.

She was a fierce goddess. A dark goddess, you might say. But what fascinates me is that her darkness wasn't simply about destruction. She was a goddess of war, fate, and sovereignty, and her power could be both terrifying and transformative.

She strikes me as a bit of a trickster. Not just because of her association with the raven and her ability to shapeshift, but because she was a force that could unsettle power and change the course of things.

What draws me most to her is the relationship between sovereignty and the land. The idea that power isn't simply something to possess, but something that carries responsibility. That when power becomes disconnected from the living world, it needs to be challenged.

And perhaps that's the warrior energy we need right now. Not war for the sake of conquest, but the courage to confront what is out of balance and fiercely protect what sustains life.

A talisman for change and fierce protection of life.

Materials: Sheen Obsidian, Garnet, Sterling Silver, Brass
